Things are picking up...

Curtis has been busy visiting clubs and promoting the band and it's paying off. We're going into Twisters in Henderson, NC on June 19 and again on August 7. June 26 marks our first appearance at Lindy's Oxford Bar & Grill in Oxford. Of course CrossRoads Entertainment in Wake Forest has us a number of times before the end of the year and we'll be ringing in the new year there on Dec 31. Since 1978, The Whiskey River Band has played a diverse mix of Country, Rock , Southern Rock, Pop and R& B. Founded by Manager and lead guitarist, Curtis Woodall, the band has enjoyed keeping up with the ever changing musical scene and the music request of their fans.

The Whiskey River Band has kept their sights on the Eastern North Carolina music scene. They have opend up for national acts such as Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart, and Alabama. The band continues to show nite clubs and event promoters that they are amoung the top drawing groups in the area.
